Sherry Loveless is an artist, anthrozoologist whose digital photographic and photocomposite work addresses natural form in its most broad idea. She is interested in 'the phylogeny of shapes and meanings' in the structures of environments, bodies, and the artifacts of our existence.

At present, her project "Chimeras and Contradictions: The notion of the natural in the iconography of enhancement" is focusing on depictions of how 'the natural' might be reconstructed in a technologically enhanced post-human future.

Her current research addresses anthrozoology, myths  and iconography of potentiality, and frontiers of enhancement science.
